my vintage finds: the fur question

To wear or not to wear. That is the fur question. I love the comfort level and the luxurious look of the fur but there are zero fur coats in my closet. I simply can’t cope with the feeling of actually wearing it. Faux fur is anoher thing. But I’ve always always been temped to buy a second hand fur piece with the idea that we’ll be wearing it over and over again instead of triggering the production of another new fur piece. Still no furs in my closet. But then, wow, we found this amazing pre-loved bomber style fur coat with amazing baloon sleeves, with a modern front zipper, extremely soft, warm and shiny. We bought it to sell it. And I love love love it. Love the idea of it, love wearing it for a while, love taking a picture of it. It’s even a few sizes too big for me but I still love it… as the oversized silhouette is one of my style staples. I know it we’ll sell it soon or maybe next season. But until then I’ll secretly contemplate just keeping it for myself!
